The Annual 2025 Burger Run starts and finishes at Fyansford Common. Parking is available behind the Fyansford Hotel.

THE COURSE

5km distance Also offered as a non-competitive walk event, the 5km event has proven to be the most popular distance. After running around the Common anti-clockwise, head along the north banks of the river. Keep an eye out for event photographers. Make a U Turn at the witches hat located at Queens Park Bridge as indicated by Burger Run crew.

10km distance Travelling along the north banks of the Barwon River you will pass Queens Park Bridge and continue until just after Shannon Avenue bridge. You'll find a Burger Run crew member at Water and Aid Station who will direct you around the witches hat to complete the second half of your run.

15km distance The longest Burger Run distance on offer. Make it a race or challenge yourself as you leave Fyansford Common, follow the north bank of the river and past Queens Park Bridge. Stop in for a water refill, or continue past Burger Run crew at Shannon Avenue/ Balyang Park. Pass under the Moorabool St bridge and Barwon Rowing Club then you'll find the Burger Run crew at your turn around. Turn around the witches hat and head back along the same path to complete your 15km distance.

  • Once you cross the finish line, our volunteer will detach your timing chip and place it in the container as directed. Your Burger Run meal and medal is waiting.

  • In line with sustainability requirements and to avoid pollution of the waterways, no single-use cups or water vessels are permitted at the event.

  • Our Burger Run crew at the Water and Aid station located at the 5km, 10km and 15km turnaround will refill hydration vessels for you. We will also use touch taps to reduce unnecessary handling.

  • The Dash and 1.5km event around the Common are exciting for kids and their parents. We encourage you to run alongside (if you can keep up) your kids around the track.
